Astana, April 1, 2026 — The International Exhibition Center “EXPO” hosted the opening of the VII International Exhibition for Machinery and Metalworking Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2026 and the XV International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Water Industry SU ARNASY – Water Expo 2026.
The official opening ceremony of Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2026 was attended by the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ersayin Kairgazievich Nagaspayev, and the Chairman of the Board of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, Meiram Kudaybergenovich Pshembayev. The participation of industry leaders highlighted the significance of the exhibition as an effective platform for the development of the machine-building sector, strengthening international cooperation, expanding industrial collaboration, and promoting modern technological solutions.

Kazakhstan Machinery Fair 2026 is the largest professional industry platform in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, bringing together equipment manufacturers, technology providers, representatives of government bodies, industry associations, the engineering community, and industrial businesses.
In 2026, more than 250 companies from 24 countries are participating in the exhibition. The exposition covers key areas of the machine-building industry, including metalworking equipment, forging and pressing technologies, welding equipment and materials, industrial automation, robotics, measuring systems, tools and tooling, as well as digital solutions for manufacturing.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ersayin Nagaspayev noted that Kazakhstan’s machine-building industry demonstrates steady growth and is one of the key sectors of the economy, accounting for about 20% of the total manufacturing output. According to him, last year the industry’s production volume amounted to approximately 6 trillion tenge, with around 4,000 enterprises employing more than 130,000 people.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of implementing modern technologies, developing robotics, and expanding industrial cooperation, expressing confidence that Kazakhstan Machinery Fair will serve as an effective platform for strengthening business ties, implementing joint projects, and promoting domestic products in both domestic and international markets.
Meiram Pshembayev, in turn, highlighted the particular importance of the exhibition for Kazakhstan’s business and the machine-building industry. According to him, Kazakhstan Machinery Fair remains an important professional platform bringing together market participants, manufacturers, suppliers, and experts, becoming a center for new technologies, innovations, and business interaction.
